§ 1-5. Provisions construed as continuations of existing ordinances.

Latest version.

The provisions appearing in this Code, as far as they are substantially the same as those of the ordinances existing at the time of the adoption of this Code or of the 1939 Code, shall be construed as a continuation thereof and not as new enactments.
